A unique conglomeration of progressive djent that just slightly edges towards alternative and dare I say pop. Remarkably catchy front to back VOLA’s sound is a breath of fresh air. Even my friends who don’t like metal like these guys. 9/10

blackwing is still my favourite cloudkicker release but subsume sure is up there. I think I prefer the original to the remaster honestly (it's been a while though, I'll have to listen again soon)
